OMG!!! This is unbelievable... both Ulrich and Basso out!! Riders are being suspended right and left... The Tour is in chaos. But I see that not one name is a Discovery Channel rider...

My other good photog buddy at the Tour, Caroling Yang, another excellent photographer, just emailed me to say that the s**t is really hitting the fan in the Press Room at the Tour. Everything is in chaos right now. This makes the Festina Affair look like a walk in the alley...

Looks like the door to the Podium has just opened wide for the American contenders....

  • Holy Crap!!! I thought the Tour was going to be interesting before. With no Lance, I was curious to see how things would play out. But now.... who the heck knows. I hope the preview on OLN tonight(at least in Canada) was not pre-taped. I am anxious to see what is going on over there. And to find out what Phil, Paul and Bob have to say. Let the "games" begin.

  • What a BLACK DAY for cycling!
    I was, sooo hyped to see Ivan, Jan and all the others this year, but now. What a blow. Oh well, this opens the door really wide for all the Americans, especially Floyd, Levi, George and maybe even David Z.

    Velogal, please keep posting the great links for the TDF images from your photog friends. Perhaps everybody here can post links to the various blogs from people who are on the TDF route this year! Go TDF!
