Were you able to get any pics of the students that came to visit the team as they came in from the ride on Thursday? I was there and noticed quite a group of photogs, including ones from Japan, that were interviewing Fumy. They really loved the excitement of the Solvang students and how interested they were in Fumy and that he was tops from Japan. George stopped and signed a water bottle for all of them and the others were equally as gracious. Seems as though the kids were enegizing to the guys after a long day in the saddle.
Nope - I had to hurry in and take a conference call... I watched it all from my hotel window - thought it was just great. The school kids come over every year. And the Japanese photogs followed the riders for a couple of days... They were real new to the sport of cycling. But Fumy's goal is to promote cycling in Japan, so he was quite happy...
